Calm Cats Has A New Home!

A NEW family wellbeing space for Norfolk Families and the home of Calm Cats
We have created a brand new venue. A calm, welcoming community designed to support children’s emotional wellbeing while bringing families together.
For the first time, Calm Cats classes, clubs, workshops, 1:1 sessions and special events all have a permanent home. A place where children can build confidence, learn emotional regulation skills and feel truly supported and where families can connect with others who value wellbeing just as much as they do.
It's called The C.L.U.B.
More than just a venue, The C.L.U.B. is a community space where children feel safe to grow, parents feel supported, and wellbeing is woven into everyday life.

About

Calm Cats founder Hannah is Mummy to Ethan and Florrie and partner to David.
She's a qualified early years teacher with over 10 years experience teaching in a special educational needs setting. After having children, Hannah chose a career change and re-trained as a Hypnotherapist, Coach and Well-being Practitioner. Hannah is hugely passionate about children's mental health and emotional well-being.
Calm Cats offers a range of services for children, families, schools and organisations that supports children’s mental health, emotional health and well-being.
Calm Cats sessions are packed full of tools and techniques using Calm Cats Signature Recipe that help children to relax body and mind, calm their nervous system and develop skills to regulate their emotions, feelings, thoughts and behaviour.
These life long skills play an important role in developing and supporting children’s physical, mental and emotional heath, as well as being essential foundations to academic learning. The sessions use a wide range of activity based learning to improve concentration and focus, build resilience, develop emotional intelligence, boost self-confidence and self-esteem as well as teaching compassion and gratitude.
All of this is achieved through the combined use of music and movement, mindfulness and meditation, breathing and relaxation, imaginative storytelling and craft. In addition, having fun, of course!
Sessions are suitable for all primary age children including nursery. Children with SEN and those who have experienced early trauma benefit greatly for the practices carried out in sessions.

Movement to boost mood, stretch to relieves stress, feeling calm through deep breathing, finding focus through mindfulness, experiencing peace and positivity through meditation, and learning how to relax through progressive muscle relaxation and guided visualisation.
